David + Jasmine - Engagement - Redlands Ca by Ulices Del Toro

David and Jasmine are such incredible couple. From the minute we met, I knew their wedding was going to be amazing. We met at the J Riley Distillery for their engagement session. It was a special place they loved to go on dates together, we decided to make a date of their entire session.

After having a few drinks, we went to downtown Redlands to explore some of the towns beautiful art installations and get to know each other some more. Their passion and love for each other was clear, and it made for some really beautiful photographs.

We ended our session with some Augie’s Coffee, a Redlands staple and must try when in town. We had so much fun getting to know each other, and this was only the begining!

Luis + Sierra - Engagement - Angeles Oaks Ca by Ulices Del Toro

You know it’s going to be an awesome shoot when you pull up to your session, and everything is covered in snow! This was also the first time we met Luis and Sierra in person, and I’m pretty sure we hit it off because we spent the rest of the day laughing and having exploring the Angelus Oaks forest together!

Their pup Waffles also came with them, he loved running around the snow and playing with his humans! This was such a fun shoot from beginning to end. Their engagement session was a blast and we cannot wait for their big day!

Joseph + Gracie - Engagement - San Gabriel, Ca by Ulices Del Toro

The San Gabriel Mission is full of history and beauty. It was also the perfect setting for Joseph and Gracie's 'Day of the Dead' themed engagement session. It was so awesome to explore the Mission with these two, everywhere we turned the building was adorned with rusting door hinges and weathered beams of wood covered in vines and plants. This was also my first time meeting these two, and they were seriously so amazing. They were both a bit nervous about their photo session when we got started, but it didn't take long before these two forgot the camera was in front of them and fell in love all over again! Their love for each other came so naturally, it was so great to see these two just be in love and enjoy their time together. The anticipation for their wedding was so strong, and by the end of the shoot we could not wait for their upcoming Pasadena I Do's.

Laguna Beach Photowalk by Ulices Del Toro

Maria and I have been planning this photowalk for almost two months. Our first one was a great experience, we had a nice group of about 15 people, we made some new friends, took some great photos together and enjoyed the idea of getting all of these artists together to share our love for creating.

For this photowalk, we wanted everyone to have a really great experience, we planned it at the beach, we were able to put together a couple of prizes for a giveaway towards the end of the event. And thanks to IE Photo Rentals, we were able to really spread the word about the photowalk and we had 30+ people show up!

What Maria did not know that besides planning the photowalk, I was also planning something special. Maria and I have been photographing engagements, weddings and family photos for over a year together now, and nothing has brought me more joy than being able to work professionally and creatively together with someone who shares the same passion for photography as I do, and this girl happens to be my girlfriend! I've known for a long time now that I want to spend the rest of my life with her, and I wanted to do something really special that combined all our friends and family and the thing we love most. So what better proposal, than at a photowalk.

The turnout for the photowalk was amazing, we had a huge group of photographers, everyone got to meet each other, we all took photos and prizes were won! I gathered everyone at the end for a nice group photo. On the last photo I sent Maria over to the camera to take the last photo, and when she turned around she had no idea what she was in for...

Thank you to everyone who help make this happen! I am so blessed to be surrounded by so many great people. I hope everyone had a great time at the photowalk, we really do believe in community first and cannot wait to host many more! Go check out the hashtag #DPphotowalk_Laguna to see all of the great photos everyone took at the meet up. and you can find us on Instagram at @deltorophoto and @emmvelasquez to join us on the next Photowalk!
